The Italian excellences of interior design meet Africa in a new event that marks the return, in complete safety, to the events held in Fiera di Padova. Africa ArchitecTour, scheduled for 1 and 2 July 2021, is the first Italian event dedicated to the African continent in the furniture sector. An innovative concept with which Fiera di Padova is aiming to restart its B2B events. The trade fair district, with tested hygiene measures and distancing systems, is ready to reopen its doors and return to being the territorial protagonist of the economic revival post-Covid.
Africa ArchitecTour, an initiative created by Fiera di Padova in collaboration with Venicepromex – Agency for internationalization and Made in Vicenza, as part of the Promotional Program shared and co-financed by the Veneto Region, was created to encourage business opportunities among Italian companies and the opinion leaders of the African continent, creating connections between two territories rich in history and culture and strengthening relations through commercial exchanges. An invitation-only, limited-number event that, in conditions of maximum security, will bring together the Made in Italy of design, furnishings and interior finishes to retailers, distributors, contractors, architects and high-level designers. Over 60 buyers from Africa, who have already confirmed their presence, will meet 60 Italian furniture companies: a strong sign, despite the current difficult situation, of the interest that has been created around the event. Many countries represented: from Benin to Morocco, from Ethiopia to Ghana, from the Ivory Coast to Nigeria, from South Africa to Cameroon to Senegal. And with the recent new entries of Kenya and Egypt.
