Flormart City Forum designs the green city of the future

The green revolution at the heart of tomorrow’s smart cities: Flormart continues its activities and already in 2020 calls its community together to reflect together on the prospects of the sector and create new opportunities for growth. Companies, professionals, experts and representatives of public administrations will meet at Flormart City Forum, the event dedicated to the future of the green world which will take place at Fiera di Padova on December 1, 2020. An appointment that further confirms Flormart’s desire to align with the strategies of the European Green Deal, the set of political initiatives promoted by the European Commission with the aim of achieving climate neutrality in Europe by 2050.

Many new features are scheduled during the event, which will host conferences, B2B business meetings and an exhibition area dedicated to green, green technology and street furniture. Three main events: ECOtechGREEN Active, a special edition of the international forum dedicated to green technology and green infrastructures; Flormart GPP Lab, the platform dedicated to green procurement (Green Public Procurement); and Erbale Forum, a conference on the supply chain of aromatic and medicinal plants.


In view of the event on December 1 – to collect the best contributions, best practices and excellence in national and international design in terms of technological green – ECOtechGREEN has launched a Call for Paper and Project open until September 25, 2020: an initiative aimed at all professionals in the landscape architecture sector and public administrations as well as associations, institutions, universities, research centres and companies.

«During this particular year, with Flormart we have always aimed to remain close to our partners, offering them continuous opportunities for growth, meetings and training, both in physical and virtual formats» declares the general manager of Padova Hall Luca Veronesi. «We achieved this through a three-stage roadshow, and with the Flormart Green City Report, our periodic survey on sector trends which will return in September with a new survey. Now is the time to prepare to meet the green community in person – adds Veronesi – to discuss issues of great importance for the future of our cities, as well as to return to offering networking and business opportunities in person. The new edition of the show which will be held from 22 to 24 September 2021 ».
